IRI Training

The training's goal

An IRI instructor rating provides the instrument flight instruction rating.

Conditions of the admission

In accordance with the technical regulations relating to the theoretical and practical training of flight crew members, before starting an instrument flight instructor (IRI) rating course, the pilot must:

Hold the FI/CPL instructor qualification.
Have completed at least 300 hours as pilot-in-command in instrument flight.


The IRI qualification allows you to carry out flight instruction for private pilot licenses (PPL) or professional pilot licenses (CPL) on IR qualifications.
