Instrument Rating - IR

Training objective

This practical training course aims to train pilots with the theoretical prerequisites for obtaining the IR (instrument flight rules) rating.

Access conditions

Hold an aircraft pilot’s license issued by the DAC;
Hold a theoretical ATPL or theoretical IR certificate, or be in the process of theoretical ATPL training with MAPA;
Hold a class 1 medical certificate.

Privileges

The instrument rating allows the holder to act as co-pilot or pilot-in-command on aircraft flying day or night under IFR (Instrument Flight Rules) conditions, provided that all other conditions relating to the license and type rating held by the holder are met.
