IR instructor's license

Training objective

An IRI instructor rating enables you to acquire an instrument flight instruction rating.

Conditions of access

In accordance with the technical regulations governing the theoretical and practical training of flight crew members, the entry requirements for Instrument Rating Instructor (IRI) training are :

Hold the FI/CPL instructor rating.
At least 300 hours as pilot-in-command on instrument flights.

Privileges

The IRI rating allows you to provide flight instruction for private pilot licenses (PPL) or commercial pilot licenses (CPL) on IR ratings.
