Flight instructor training - FI

Training objective

The aim of this course is to enable candidate pilots to qualify as flight instructors for the PPL phase. This qualification enables them to instruct trainee pilots in the practical PPL phase.

The FI (PPL) course enables candidates to acquire flight and ground training techniques, in line with established teaching methods.

Admission requirements

Admission requirements for the FI-PPL course

  • Hold at least the PPL(A) private pilot’s license;
  • Completion of an appropriate general training course approved by the civil aviation authority;
  •   Have flown at least 200 hours, including at least 150 hours as pilot-in-command;.
  •   Pass the oral interview and the in-flight or simulator assessment.
Privileges
Provide flight and ground instruction for the issuance of a PPL private pilot’s license.
